Abenaia
Abenaia is a familiar project of local agroecological dynamization raised in the woods of São Mamede Natural Park (Marvão, Portugal). Through the use of Portuguese merino wool we try to involve the shepherds and recover the artisan work of wool processing. Buying wool to local shepherds makes their work more sustainable, sheep are free range and mulesing is not practiced.

A Belfast based craft studio specialising in Macramért, artist Alison Pascoe uses traditional knot-work and cord weaving to handcraft objects and artworks designed for modern spaces. Deeply rooted in generational skills and inspired by historical textile and knot-craft techniques, her practice ethos is to discover new perspectives on traditional craft.

Crisal
I’m a Chilean textile artist based in Sligo. I started to knit at the beginning of COVID pandemic, since then I didn’t stop. I’ve work as a dye assistant for the Irish brand Olann, which closed in February 2023. Dyeing yarn is a craft that I love and this year I challenge myself to start my own brand!

FeltHappiness
Juliane Gorman of @felthappiness creates colourful, handfelted accessories for grownups who boldly want to wear fun. Hat styles include berets, cloches, top hats, fedoras, and wizard-style hats. Along with ‘everyday’ headwear inspired by nature, such as autumn leaves and kiwi fruit, she also creates fanciful hats inspired by dragons’ wings and unicorns’ horns. Every hat is both practical and fantastical!

Feltmakers Ireland is a guild under the Design & Crafts Council Ireland. We meet monthly in Inchicore to share our love of feltmaking. We are an inclusive organisation and welcome all types and levels of feltmaking. Additionally, we have an annual exhibition at the Phoenix Park Visitors' Centre.

Fibreshed Ireland
Fibreshed Ireland is a community-supported social enterprise building networks to craft a regenerative Irish textile system based on local fibre, local dyes & local labour. The Reciprocal Yarn and Fibre that we'll be offering at this festival is not only made from beautiful Irish-grown wool, but it will also support farmers in implementing verifiable enhancements to their farm systems, aimed at increasing biodiversity, as well as restoring habitats and waterways.

Fine Leaf Fibres is an indie yarn dyeing studio based in East Cork, Ireland. At Fine Leaf Fibres, you'll find a luxurious selection of hand dyed yarns that include Merino, Alpaca, Yak, Bluefaced Leicester, Silk, and Cashmere blends. Each yarn base has been carefully selected by the owner who is an avid knitter herself. At their stand you will find a wide range of vibrant colourways dyed on Lace, Sock, DK or Aran weight yarn. You will also find Mystery Yarn Holiday Boxes, crafting accessories and fun yarnie stickers!

We have our own three ranges of Donegal Tweed - Traditions, an Aran weight, pure wool tweed with 30+ colours; Faerie Folk, a DK merino mohair blend in 18 colours; Banbha, a sport weight merino, cashmere, silk blend in 18 colours. We work along side Irish designers such as Ailbiona McLochlainn and Woollen Knots to create patterns and kits with our yarns.

Hand dyed and hand spun art yarns; products handcrafted from these yarns. Sandra has been producing hand dyed and spun yarns for over 10 years, using her own sheep's fleeces. She market them under the Meet the Wool and have also operated Irish Fibre Crafters for 5 years, selling and teaching all fibre related crafts spun specialty yarns for 10+ years.

Knit With Helen
I'm Helen, a knitting teacher based in Dublin. I've been teaching since 2018, and in 2021 I opened my own online yarn store. I'm proud to stock my favourite yarns from Katia, Studio Donegal and Adriafil, as well as Addi knitting needles. I'll be bringing along my full range, and also selling pre-packed kits for some of my most popular beginner-level patterns.

I’m a self taught knitter and weaver. Olannmor’s first focus was on products knitted with jumbo roving wool and has since developed into lots of knitting kits, weaving and workshops. All of these are aimed at beginners and also suitable for children! I only work with natural materials; mainly wool but also cotton, jute etc. Especially in weaving I combine lots of materials to make an interesting piece.
