1. What will the 2nd edition of the Dublin Fibre Festival be like?

Our 2nd edition will take place at the North Range in IMMA, Irish Museum of Modern Art located in Dublin 8, on Saturday 18 October 2025, and it will be open to the public from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. Our festival includes in 40 vendors and exhibitors, in support of local small businesses and artists in fibre arts. There will be 7 workshops during the day happening in two beautiful and historic rooms of the North Range, and on the same day.

2. Who can apply as a vendor/exhibitor and how can I participate?

All the fibre-related artists, artisans and guilds are welcome. Applications are now closed, but you can register to be on our waitlist in case of any cancellations in the link below:

Please note: everyone who wants to participate in the festival with an allocated space/table should apply through this form, regardless of whether they are selling or not selling products/services.

3. Is this an indoor or outdoor event?

This is an indoor event. The event is happening at the North Range of IMMA (the function area which is the main hall and two adjacent rooms).

4. Will there be any demonstrations and/or a stage?

We won’t have a stage and/or a demonstration. However, you should check out Johnny Shiels’s booth - Donegal Spinning Wheels, for some first hand spinning experience and demonstrations. Also check out Feltmakers Ireland’s booth for some live felting. And, there might me even more booths with their own demonstrations!

5. How can I attend one or more workshops?

Check out the workshops in the link below and send an email to us, writing your full name, and other participants if you’re a group, and the names of the workshops you wanted to attend. Then we contact you and ask your address and phone number for your invoice, after you get the invoice and pay the amount your booking will be secure with us. Payments are only via bank transfer and cancellation policy is written under your invoice.

6. How can I buy my ticket(s) to Dublin Fibre Festival?

We will pre-sell and sell on the day the tickets this year in two periods of morning and afternoon tickets. You should follow our social media in order to get the news about when the pre-selling will start. Ticket fee TBD. Free admissions for children up to 12 and people with disabilities.

7. Will there be a cloakroom?

We won’t have any place for your coats, jackets, bags, etc.

8. Does the venue have a car park?

Yes. The venue has a car park. The parking fee is not included with your festival ticket. See the details for access and parking fees below:

9. Will there be food at the festival?

Yes. The venue has a cafe offering food and drinks. There’s also a coffee truck in the courtyard of the venue, in front of function area where the festival is happening. We don’t have any food vendors from outside.

12. Is this a dog-friendly event?

No animals are permitted in the Function Area with the exception of assistance dogs.

13. Is this place accessible for disabled people?

Yes.
